Ingredients and accessories:
- 3 cup of sift flour
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 tea spoon of salt
- 3 tea spoon of baking powder
- 1/2 cup of melted bacon fat (or salted butter)
- 1 beer (Hello variety!)
- Mix all dry ingredients
- Add beer and mix
- Put into a greased loaf pan
- Pour melted bacon fat on top
- Bake in a Kamado (or any other BBQ) indirect heat 375 F for one hour
- Let it rest 15 minutes before serving
Notes: For a softer crust incorporate bacon fat in the mix instead of pouring it on top. Try it with different beer, or insted of bacon fat, use drippings from what you are already cooking in the BBQ! this recipe is almost infinite!
